With having a low income job, travelling abroad for work, being low on mular, having 2 of my close friends get engaged, engage in numerous fun activities and well being me - I can't say I'm sad to be saying goodbye to 2011.
It wasn't a good year but it weren't all bad either - I'm just looking forward to something new.

So as I just mentioned there is a new TV series called Revenge. It stars Madeleine Stowe as Victoria Grayson “Queen Victoria", Emily VanCamp as Emily Thorne, Nick Wechsler (Kyle from Roswell) as Jack Porter, Connor Paolo (Eric from Gossip Girl) as Declan Porter and Joshua Bowman as Daniel Grayson.
It is set in The Hamptons and it's full of money, deceit, lies, love, lust, parties, boats, and all things good. The story line is quite enthralling as you want to know who the next target is and why they are even the target.
So anyway here is a proper synopsis of the show but click on the title for the wiki page:
"Wealth, beauty and status define the people in this town, but one woman is willing to destroy everyone for the sake of revenge. The Hamptons were once Emily Thorne's old neighborhood, until something bad happened that ruined her family and their reputation. Ok so I am loving this new TV show called Revenge, it's just so new and good. It's based loosely on The Count of Monte Cristo which is a story I love. So anyway this new artist has been used in at least 2 eps out of 4 and at least 3 of her song were used. So my favourite one is called Riverside and the artist's name is Agnes Obel, she's Danish ( which I take as a sign as my brother has just moved to Denmark for 3 months)
Her voice is so mellow and beautiful and this song reminds me of a time when I was a teenager - younger carefree times. It just makes me smile.

I am loving this new original BBC fantasy horror 6-part series called The Fades (so no, not the band!) It's like Misfits but less for the teenager. It's dark with a sense of excitement yet it's rather foreboding!
It's about Paul who is an awkward teenager who had weird nasty dreams which he thinks are not real. Turns out he's wrong and they are and he can see The Fades!!!
The Fades are dead, upset and vengeful souls who haven't 'ascended up' - they couldn't find an opening and their lights get extinguished and are therefore stuck on earth forever hence the hating being here part! The show includes Paul’s sci-fi loving best mate Mac, his bitchy twin sister Anna, his odd outcast mentor Neil and a rather dead Sarah.....
The reason I liked this pilot is because it didn’t leave you hanging, too much - I mean there are a few things that weren't answered but that's just part of the mystic and intrigue of it all. It was funny in parts and a bit thrilling in others – they even show you the ‘monster’ up close and personal!!!
Anyway, I can't help but compare this to Outcasts (that BBC show about a colony of humans who live on a planet called Carpathia but there are weird clones that live on the other side!?!?!? No???) The problem with this was there was never enough explanation about what was going on, the characters were somewhat likeable but no enough for you to really feel for them and well it was cancelled before the whole plot was explained – boooo!
Anyway I’m sure as hell will be watching the 2nd episode!

Hello hello, so I have fallen in love with Elie Saab who is a Lebanese Haute Couture designer and I just love his bridal collection ( maybe not as much as the Marchesa one) but I just love the fun, flirty way he designs his clothes. I mean awesome people like Emily Blunt wear his clothes to events like the 2011 Primetime Emmys last night so anyway love it an much as meeee :)

So I love my nails( coz I'm growing them after years of biting) and decided try something new. So I went for the nail art effect, I had been thinkin about buying the Opi Shatter effect nail polish( Ill let you know what I think when I get it!) but I just happened to stumble into Boots today and picked up this quick, cheap and fun looking nail art.

Ok so since I have not entered the world of the smart-phone I seem to be in a pickle.... should I have a Twitter account? Everyone else does and it seems like a cool way to share stupid everyday stuff with people you know who are just far away.

Urghhhh, so I have this pet hate which is to do with continuity errors in movies and high heels.
Everyone likes a bad ass chick to kick-butt in 4-6 inch ree-dun-culous heels coz its sexy and makes the outfit look bad-ass which is all gravy... what I hate is that the continuity for the chick to still be wearing heels while fighting/ punching/ running/ dodging is ignored and they are just flat out (yes, pun intending) shown doing the stunts NOT in heels and just in flats!
I have a fixer for this.... dnt show the butt-kicking chick’s feet!!!!

Lol, so I keep catching this TV series and this guy is like the perfect man boyfriend. I mean every woman could relate to this guy with a few mild tweeks here and there but come on.

So I have never been one to shy away from all things thriller, horror or scifi but I'm thinkin that when it comes to the Human Centipede ( First Sequence) that I'll probably be shaking in the corner,lol,!!!!

In my love and lust for reality TV shows I decided to watch Made in Chelsea. So the first episode aired on 9th May and to be honest, I was really disappointed! Shameeeeee!!!!
Believe me when I say that if a reality TV series sucks then ‘by George!’ it sucks!
The whole series at first glance is about this girl called Caggie ‘Cags’ Dunlop having ‘goo- goo’ eyes for this guy named Spence. This guy who seems like a mah-who-sive douche! The cast seem a bit dry and very self involved! That brings to mind Ollie. He is a club promoter ( oh how original. Makes me think of Joey Essex...hahahahahaha.) and seems to like his girlfriend but absolutely totes loves loves loves himself..., not cool!
I think I saw a clip from the next episode where this Ollie guy says to his gf, ‘did you take my eyelash curlers???? Yeah.....ok.
The rest of the cast included snooty Amber, ‘wannabe’ Cheska, random girl Binky, horny girl aka Cags’ BFF who is hot for the Scandinavian looking model, Hugo who is lusting after Amber and random girl Funda the Brazilian who is Spencer’s gf.
So my conclusion is that:
1. The series better pick up and not be all about Cags.
2. The only people who seem remotely likable are the random Scandinavian looking model, who is being fawned over by Cags’ BFF and maybe..... maybe Hugo.
So all in all, it’s a wee bit shite.... bring on Geordie Shore???? Now that I am not sure of either.
Apparently the MIC cast are taking pointers off the TOWIE cast! I love me some TOWIE, it’s my guilty pleasure.
I like the song, its got a nice summer feel to it. I like the first dance sequence with the hula dancing ( coz she's from Hawaii!) but the clothes are aweful and well Fiddy is in the remix which isnt up on the blog - lol!

Ok so just got back from watching Scream 4, it was kinda good.
Killer knowledge spoiler alert, so if you dnt wanna know stop reading!
The killer is one crazy asssssssss bitch, I havent seen a female killer like that since Urban Legend but even that has nothing on Jill Roberts aka Emma Roberts character and Sydney Prescott's cousin from her mother's side. She was the killer and boy was she seriously one pyscho mother-freakin crazy biz-natch!
Ok so I love love love the Scream Franchise! Wes Craven was struck with brilliance when he thought this one up. The crazy slasher teen angst mixed in with random humour, crazy 'whodunit' plots and of course the horror movie survival guidelines all makes for amazing movie stuff! Lol, Scream makes me laugh so much, the bad clothes and Billy's bad 90’s hair.
One of my fave quotes from the franchise is from Scream 3 which is so brilliantly twisted! It is from Parker Posey's character who is playing Gale Weathers in the Stab movie franchise within the actual movies. She is actually supposed to be the killer (lol, the Stab movies!!!) So anyway it is:

Lifetime Network actually did it and did it quick! The movie about Amanda ‘Foxy Knoxy’ Knox had been made and with speed too. I think I remember seeing movie stills of the film being made in as early as October. Knox is being played by actress Hayden Panettiere( the cheerleader outta Heroes). The film was made in Italy but not in Perugia as production had wanted but in Rome. The roles of Meredith Kercher, Raffaele Sollecito and Rudy Guede are all being played by unknowns and apparently according to good ol’ Wiki, Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, Emily Blunt and Kristen Stewart all auditioned for the role. It must have been a coveted role to have, even though it’s not going to have a cinematic release.
This story gripped the world in 2007 and it definitely gripped me, I mean being murdered due to a sex-game going awry, I mean wow! I, like the rest of the world would love to know the true story. The reason the case gained notoriety is coz Amanda Knox came across all weird and shiz. She was all confident, breezy and well at first kinda unphased - there are pictures to prove it. I mean the chick is seen several times smiling in court when on trial for murder… who does that… weird! I mean I’m only saying she’s guilty coz that’s what she’s in jail for.
The movie trailer shows her to be a bit sadistic to be honest and outta respect ( Meredith Kercher’s family are not happy with how the film looks) I won’t post the trailer or any photos). So on my way home from work, I walk to a bus stop in the Shoreditch area and on the way, there’s a gym. So I’ll try and explain this properly so you can get a decent picture - there’s this outside exhaust-type unit, which is about 7/8feet long and when I walk past warm air is always being expelled out of it from the gym, coz they have a pool and other things that give off heat. So for the past 3 months, two homeless men have made the cubby-hole their home because it’s sheltered at the sides ( but obvs not from above). Well I was walking home yesterday and the gym has now gated/ fenced the space, so now the homeless men can’t sleep there any more. That’s kinda sad, no?
Ok so Bruno Mars has his number one song out called ‘Grenade’ .…. Did anyone else think of Jersey Shore when they heard the title of the song! I mean c’mon!!!! You gotta see what I mean. The Jersey shore-goers call a minging girl a ‘grenade’ and an utterly minging girl a ‘landmine’! lol! So anyone who knows me, knows that I have a bad rep when it come to computers and recent decent technology. It’s coz I literally live inside the black hole of technological things All those old skool computers, computer games – they are for me, not any of this new stuff! What I mean by this is that I literally short circuit shit, set off alarms coming in and out of shops ( even without having bought something for there or any other place) and I crash computers. Someone said that i‘m like the human version of an EMP ( Electro magnetic pulse!) Nawwwwwwwwww man that’s just wrong and way harsh!!!!!!! He also said that maybe the machines from the Terminator movies came back and tried to kill me but failed but did get me a lil which is why I’m kinda slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! I was like WTF! Lol! Well it’s not true, I mean I dnt short circuit phones or DVD players or internet waves, I just seem to carry a weird field of static electricity with me and maybe attract computer virus – ah, who knows????
WTF is with the sunshine..... it's actually blinding! I think in all the snow, hail, rain and cloud Ive become a Cullen and have forgotten what sunshine is!!!!!

Oh so Im completely fed up! To the core!!! Plus this predicament of mine is just so unfair!!!! Let me explain! So not to toot my own horn but Ive always been told that Im kinda pretty. So anyway some people live in the good-looking ‘bubble’, (one of Liz Lemon’s bf s in 30 Rock! Season 1 will know what I’m talking about!) you get student price cinema tickets, free entry into clubs and people are just generally nicer to you! So why is it that, me being my kinda pretty self attract CRUSTY, CONK, FRESHIE, FRESH men (usually black but some just look homeless!!! No joke, dnt laugh!) who always try to chat me up, and not in a nice way! Ha, its usually just on the street, where they shout at me ('eh, oh hunny, baby, come talk to me. Why you running aways? wifey, sugar...) and expect miracles! They also then proceed to be extra weird and freakin follow me …… like yesterday!!!! *HUGH BIG SAD SIGH* Whatever happened to the cute guy, who is dressed well, has a sexy voice, nice hair, looks like he smells amazing and has a job ( therefore not a student!) See that is the type of attention I wouldn’t mind, that guy… he could scream at me in the street!
Oh and while we're on the subject of 'the Celebrity', lol, I make them sound like game to be hunted in the wild... Katie Price's break-up with her husband of 11 months, Alex Reid IS NOT FREAKING NEWS!!!!! Of course entertainment news, in the entertainment section but not normal, viable news!!! So people should stop! And twitter her or something if they wanna find out more! PS... no I did not spot her!

Anyway with this celebrity spottage thing, I think it might just sometimes be titled "People on the telly, are on the street!" coz the guy Im going to mention isnt really a celeb, maybe by BBC standards but defo not normal ones! Sooooooooooo I spotted Dominic Littlewood from BBC programs like Saints and Sinners and BBC's The One Show on the way to work on Curtain Road! Who? You may ask, check out the photo.. duh!!!! hehehe but oi wait!Makes me think there are either sinners lurking around shoreditch,aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhahahahahhaha!!!!
The biggest day in any woman’s life will usually be her wedding day or giving birth… I’d go for wedding day but big doesn’t even describe a travellers wedding, they go big or they go home! So yeah, last night I caught the Channel 4 TV show(YouTube) – My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. I watched the 2nd episode out of 6 and it chronicles the lives of either Roma or Irish ‘travellers’. I put that inverted comas as not all move about /live in caravans but still classify themselves as part of the community known as travellers. Most people seem to apparently know very little about them hence why most of the people on the show have agreed to go on the show. They have fancy big puffy expensive heavy wedding dresses ( all with highly dubious style sense and colour), live in actual caravans ( some now choose to live in houses), have extremely high morals and well keep to themselves. The highest concentration of travellers is up north around Bolton and Liverpool but there are some in the west of London, which to be honest I was surprised by. The problem I have with this high morals stuff/ strict rules stuff is that the girls dress like freaking charlatans!!!! I mean sure they are not allowed to be left alone with a boy or her reputation will be ruined, sure they are not allowed to drink before marriage, sure most girls stop school at either 11-16 so that they can help raise their abundant number of siblings and yeah sure once wed the girls ( by choice) will stay at home and be a good wife but c’mon their clothes are wholly inappropriately short!
The ‘culture’ it seems is very 18th century, girls have chaperons when they go out with a man, even ones that are engaged. They girls live by the real ol’ skool rule of being literally passed onto their new husband leaving their families for the first time to go and live within their new home. I mean its daunting for most women and the vast majority are actually aged between 15-19, depending on when they find someone they want to marry. This one couple called Josie and Swanley, 16-19 respectively got married in this second episode. They seemed to love each other which was rather lovely. The earlier they get married the better it is think because they can live out their young girl dream. I did see this one girl who got married at 22( which is considered to be old) she was freaking scared and I think it’s because the reality of her getting married hit her harddddddddddd on the day! I think younger the girl, the less illusion is shattered. I still get a ‘je n’ai sais quoi’ feeling about the lifestyle but its not the culture is not mine. I call it a culture not because I think it is even tho a way of life of culture, Im just saying it to be PC! I'll keep ya'll posted as I watch the series! There's more stuff to come such as talking about how weddings are like one massive date for the young people, grabbing ( what travellers call their pulling technique.. yep it is literal) and well how people today react to travellers!
